Just got monetized and I was thinking of earning decent money but looking back my RPM is very low, like ₹40–₹60 per 1000 views. My content is of lifestyle/vlog type and most of my viewers are in Tier 2 cities of India. While looking for a guide on how to understand that audience location, ad type and niche all affect your youtube income per 1000 views, I stumbled upon BoostBySocial's guide. It made me realise that there could be low advertiser demand in my niche. Should I go niche or should I go to international audience? Would love feedback on this from creators who have experienced it.
