I've had my 2015 Patrol Safari for a while now and it's seen its fair share of desert weekends and school runs but the interior was starting to smell like a mix of wet dog and old karak and the white paint had that permanent beige tint from all the dust that just never seemed to wash off completely no matter how many times I took it to the guys at the petrol station. Finally my wife said she refused to get in it anymore unless I did something about the state of the carpets so I booked it in for a full Nissan full interior and exterior detailing at Exotic Car Care after seeing them work on a neighbor's car and I'm honestly shocked at how much of a difference it made, the seats look almost new again and they even got the sand out of the seatbelt mechanisms which I thought was a lost cause. I was a little worried they'd treat it as just an old truck but they were super thorough with the paint correction and now the white actually looks white again instead of that sad cream color it had turned into. If anyone else is putting off getting their Nissan done because they think it's not worth it on an older car I'd say just go for it, I actually enjoy driving it again instead of just tolerating it as a tool.
